At Tauy Creek Meats, we specialize in raising farm fresh Pasture Pork. Our pasture pigs run on an lush, green pasture complete with red clover, sweet clover, mulberry trees that drop fresh mulberries, and hedge apples. Additionally, we feed our pigs fresh fruit, when in season of course, such as peaches and pears! Our pigs are all natural, family raised, and have more space to roam, run, root, and be the curious beings that they are. In addition to their pasture and fruit, they have access to a locally sourced grain based diet to cover any other nutritional necessities that they have. Their favorite activities include foraging, rooting, eating fruit, and running around with each other! We have locker dates in late October and early November this year. We will be selling these pigs in either halves or wholes, and will price them on their hanging weight. The purchaser will pay us by the pound for the pig based on the hanging weight, and then will pay the processor based on what and how they choose to process the animal.
